Guest Consent and Release: Who Are These Startups

1. Recording.
I agree to be recorded (video, audio and screen) as a recording or a live stream.
2. Use.
Craig Major and the show may edit, publish and promote the recording, clips, quotes, transcripts and show notes from it, along with my name, likeness, voice, title, company name, bio, headshot and logo. This covers the show's websites, YouTube, podcast platforms, social media, newsletters and similar channels, in any format, with no time limit.
3. Editing and publishing.
The show may edit for length and clarity, such as removing filler words, pauses and false starts, and may use software and AI tools to do it. It won't edit in a way that changes what I meant. I understand I won't be asked to review or approve the edit before it's published.
4. Asking for a cut.
If I said something I'd rather not have published, I can tell Craig during the session or within 7 days afterwards, and he'll make reasonable efforts to remove it. After publishing, removing anything is at the show's discretion.
5. Live streams.
If the session is live, I understand it's seen as it happens and can't be edited before it airs.
6. Materials I provide.
I have the right to share the headshot, logo and other materials I provide, and they can be used as described above. I won't share confidential information I'm not allowed to share.
7. Authority.
I'm 18 or older, and if I'm speaking for a company or fund, I'm allowed to agree to this for it.
8. No payment.
Taking part is voluntary and unpaid, unless agreed separately in writing.
9. Governing law.
Ontario, Canada.
10. Startup list entry.
TorontoStarts may use information from the interview and from my guest doc (such as what my company does, its stage, location, links and logo) to create or update my company's entry in the TorontoStarts startup list. I can add to or correct that entry at any time by emailing info@flowgrammer.ca.
